The Vision of Nebuchadnezzar and the Prophecy of Kingdoms
November 28, 2023
In the ancient courts of Babylon, King Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of an empire, was troubled by a dream. Daniel, a man of God, was summoned to interpret the mysterious vision. The dream revealed a colossal statue, composed of various metals, each representing a kingdom: gold for Babylon, silver for a lesser realm, bronze for a third kingdom of widespread rule, and iron for a mighty but divided fourth kingdom. As Nebuchadnezzar listened, Daniel explained the statue’s destruction by a stone, not crafted by human hands, symbolizing a divine kingdom that would endure forever, outlasting all earthly powers.
